SKY Perfect JSAT and Blue Origin signed Agreement

SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & Chief Executive Officer: Shinji Takada; SJC) announces that the company signed an Agreement with BLUE ORIGIN FLORIDA, LLC (Head Office: Merritt Island, Florida, USA; Blue Origin) for the future use of its new launch vehicle.

Blue Origin is the space development company founded by Jeff Bezos, who is also well known as the CEO and Founder of the Amazon.com. Expecting the future launches of SJC’s communications satellites, for ensuring the wide variety of launch and schedule flexibility, SJC signed the Agreement with Blue Origin for its new launch vehicle, New Glenn.
As a pioneer of the Space and Satellite business in the world, and Asia’s largest satellite operator, SJC will take forward-looking business activities.
