British Sky Broadcasting Selects Agama for TV Service

Agama Technologies,
the video service quality assurance expert, today announced to have been
contracted by Sky, the largest pay-TV broadcaster in Britain and Ireland
with well over 10 million customers, to provide its
DTV Monitoring
Solution for TV
service quality assurance.
Sky is the UK and Ireland's
leading home entertainment and communications company. It is also the UK's
biggest investor in television content, investing more than £2.5bn a year in
channels such as Sky1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living, Sky Arts, Sky Sports, Sky
Movies and Sky News. In line with its commitment to offering customers a
great choice of high-quality content, the broadcaster has selected to deploy
Agama's DTV Monitoring Solution for service assurance and operational
excellence in its multi-platform video delivery.

monitoring on all streams leaving our broadcast centres. The initial demand
was driven by the operational and support teams who requested a system that

software flexibility to allow for future expansion."
