Alvatross and Airbus
Defence and Space present SatCom Hub
Alvatross and Airbus Defence
and Space present SatCom Hub, their new joint
platform, this week at World Space Business Week in
Paris to prospective partners across the
telecommunications sector.
Alvatross, the BSS/OSS software
company belonging to SATEC Group, and Airbus Defence
and Space, Europe's leading defence and space
company, are presenting this week the jointly
developed platform SatCom Hub at World Space
Business Week in Paris to prospective customers and
partners across the telecommunications, government,
military, and satcom sectors.
The Alvatross - Airbus Defence
and Space partnership marks the culmination of
Alvatross's strategic commitment to the satcom
sector and represents an important step in
Alvatross's international expansion, with global
reach.
The programme includes the
deployment of the Alvatross Digital Platform with
its Customer Engagement, Unified Catalog, Order
Management, Inventory Management, and Assurance &
Ops Management modules, adapted and configured for
this environment and integrated with Airbus Defence
and Space components
The SatCom Hub BSS./OSS
solution will support the full customer relationship
lifecycle: commercialisation, service provisioning,
consolidation and management of service level
agreements, consumption, and billing — offering a
"one stop shop" for products and services from
multiple sources (Airbus own services, third-party
satcom services operated by Airbus, third-party
terrestrial services operated by Airbus, terminals,
value-added services, and intelligent routing
solutions, among others), with optimized and
automated service delivery and a reliable, committed
SLA, all through a single interface.
"With a modular, cloud-native
platform built on TM Forum standards, Alvatross
eliminates technical silos and enables new services
to be deployed in a fraction of the usual time.
Alvatross transforms the complexity of operating
multi-vendor satellite and terrestrial services into
a simple, agile, and unified experience, enabling
the management of mission-critical connectivity
services with the speed and reliability that the
most demanding environments require." Mª Carmen
González, Business Development Director, Alvatross
"We are proud to consolidate a
long-term relationship with a global leader like
Airbus Defence and Space, which recognizes in
Alvatross the quality of our talent, technology, and
services in one of the most demanding and advanced
environments." Rui de Brito, Chief Revenue Officer,
Alvatross
For Airbus Defence and Space,
this new platform will streamline engagement with
its customers in military and government
environments and, beyond that use, will allow it to
consolidate a product that will become part of its
technical offering in global proposals.
Airbus Defence and Space and
Alvatross are meeting this week in Paris at World
Space Business Week, the leading business event for
the global satellite industry. For Alvatross, it
represents the largest annual gathering of
decision-makers in the government and defence space.
