NOVELSAT-AYECKA Expands Xstream Product Line from Video Broadcasting to Advanced LEO Ground Infrastructure

September 11, 2026

NOVELSAT-AYECKA announced the expansion of its Xstream product line, extending its established video broadcasting capabilities to support advanced ground infrastructure for specialized LEO constellations, including Earth Observation and defense applications.

NOVELSAT has built a strong track record in satellite video delivery through its NS3 and NS4 technologies, delivering high spectrum efficiency and service robustness for the distribution of valuable live content, including major sports events worldwide.

The combination of NOVELSAT’s broadcast experience with AYECKA’s expertise in secure and advanced satellite communications enables the company to address a broader range of satellite infrastructure requirements. Its expanded capabilities now extend from video delivery, IRD, processing and multiplexing to ground infrastructure, notably providing solutions for  LEO constellations.

“Bringing together NOVELSAT and AYECKA marks an important step in the evolution of our company,” said Avi Barda, CEO of NOVELSAT-AYECKA. “Our Xstream products were originally developed for video delivery infrastructure and are now increasingly being applied within the ground infrastructure of LEO constellations. Xstream One builds on this flexible architecture  to serve the satellite application segments where the strongest growth and long-term market potential is expected.”

Xstream One brings NS4 capabilities to a compact 1RU platform  alongside DVB-S, DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X. In fact the combined NOVELSAT-AYECKA portfolio enables broadcasters and content providers to address delivery requirements also through non-satellite based networks, including IP-based streaming applications and SRT.

Industry executives and specialists are invited to meet the NOVELSAT-AYECKA team at IBC2026, Hall 1, Booth 1.C20, to learn more about Xstream One and discuss how the company’s solutions can support their operational, security and service requirements.
