Sateliot will incorporate UARX Space’s separation ring for the in-orbit deployment of its 5G Tritó satellite

Sateliot has reached an agreement with the Galician company UARX Space, specialized in the development of deployment systems and advanced in-orbit logistics solutions, to integrate its separation ring into Sateliot’s new Tritó satellite.

These mechanisms play a critical role in several phases of deployment. During launch, they keep the satellite firmly integrated into the launcher, withstanding the vibrations, accelerations, and temperature changes that occur. Later, when the launcher reaches its intended orbital trajectory, they ensure that satellites are released from the rocket in a controlled, orderly, and safe manner, allowing them to reach orbit safely and successfully.

Specifically, UARX Space will supply separation rings from the SAU&RON family, a system designed for missions requiring precision and reliability in in-orbit release and capable of working with payloads of up to 1,000 kilograms.

This collaboration strengthens the capacity of the Spanish and European space ecosystem to integrate mission-critical technologies and gain traction in the global market, in a context of deploying new generations of satellites and expanding global connectivity services.

Sateliot’s new generation of Tritó satellites represents a qualitative leap in capability and performance thanks to the higher operational power of its payload. Not only will they be able to provide connectivity to IoT devices, but they will also be capable of connecting mobile phones with data, voice, and video services. In addition, they incorporate dual-use capability, which will make it possible to deploy critical applications in security, civil protection, and defense.
