Creotech Instruments to build National CAMILA Satellite Constellation for nearly €52 million
On April 15th, during a ceremony at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the official signing of a contract worth nearly €52 million took place between Creotech Instruments and the European Space Agency - ESA for the implementation of the strategic CAMILA project (Country Awareness Mission in Land Analysis).
The event was attended by Josef Aschbacher, Director General of hashtag#ESA; Simonetta Cheli, Director of Earth Observation Programmes at ESA; Michał Baranowski, Deputy Minister of Development and Technology.
THe company was represented by Grzegorz Brona, President of Creotech Instruments.
As part of the mission, a constellation of at least three Polish Earth observation satellites will be developed, along with ground infrastructure and a system to manage the entire space operation.
Creotech Instruments will serve as the main contractor, working in close collaboration with leading companies from the Polish space sector, including CloudFerro S.A., Eycore, GMV Innovating Solutions, KP Labs, and Scanway.
This marks another milestone on the path toward building independent national space capabilities. We are proud to lead this groundbreaking project and extend our sincere thanks to ESA and the Ministry of Development and Technology for their trust.
