Martin Pointer Joins Ramon.Space Leadership as VP Products and Country Manager for the UK

Ramon.Space announces the appointment of Martin Pointer as Vice President of Products and Country Manager for the UK. Martin brings extensive experience and a proven record of success in commercial, technical, and operational roles within the space and satellite industry.

In his new role, Martin oversees Ramon.Space's UK subsidiary and spearheads the company's global computing and communication products. Based in the UK, his leadership will be pivotal in driving the product roadmap, executing strategic initiatives, and fostering growth in the global market.
Before joining Ramon.Space, Martin served as CTO of Viasat UK. His career is highlighted by significant achievements, including launching a start-up that provides 'Internet of Things' ground sensor coverage from space at Lacuna Space, and establishing a new defence business line for Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL). He has also advised the European Space Agency (ESA).
Ramon.Space is renowned for its advanced, space-resilient onboard processors, which are central to next-generation space missions and services. The company offers flexible, software-based solutions for remote sensing, earth observation, IoT, communication payloads, and data centers & edge computing in space.
