ReliaSat and AYECKA
announce
Next Generation Communication Payload
ReliaSat and AYECKA join
forces, under grant from Florida Israel Space
program, supported
by the Israel Innovation Authority and the Space
Florida, for the development of a state-of-the[1]art
communication and processing payload for Nano
satellitesThe new payload, is based on the AYECKA
OPR (Observe Process Report) platform, designed for
the LASSI satellites. This platform includes a
combination of a digital communication capability
combined with advanced processing and AI accelerator
engines. The new payload will be equipped with
ReliaSat advanced Ka band transceiver, enabling the
system to provide both satellite to ground (GSL) and
satellite to satellite (ISL) high speed
communication links in the Ka band.
The new payload will enable
true real time earth observation applications,
combined with high speed GSL and ISL links. The
system and its derivatives will be tested on the
LASSI line of advanced nano satellites, which are
planned to be launched during 2025 and 2026.
“ReliaSat is grateful for the
support from the Israel Innovation Authority, and
Space Florida, which has enabled this ambitious
project to take flight. The partnership is poised to
reshape the landscape of satellite communication and
Earth observation, heralding a new era of
technological achievement. We look forward to the
transformative impact of this partnership with
AYECKA.”
“We are excited to join forces
with ReliaSat under the Florida Israel collaboration
program, for the development of a critical element
for the new-space industry. We are confident that
this new payload will allow both companies to better
support our customers, by providing the most
advanced performance, says Avi Barda, president of
AYECKA.”
