The Egyptian Bouquet is launched on Arabsat satellite Badr-4 for viewers in the Arab World, Europe and Africa

5 new major Egyptian channels were launched on Arabsat Badr- 4 satellite at 26 deg E. Arab households in the Arab world and Europe can start watching the new Egyptian Bouquet on frequency 11938, vertical

Eng. Khalid Balkhyour president & CEO of Arabsat has stated that “The launch of these channels Forms the nucleus of  

 a new Egyptian Bouquet on Arabsat satellites .The number of these channels is expected to increase to be 10 Egyptian Channels by the end of this year .Intensive talks about the remaining  channels are in progress. This bouquet covers the Arab world, large parts of Europe and Whole Africa, as the latest marketing studies yielded that a great percentage of the Arab expatriates in Europe follow and watch Arabic programs on Arabsat Badr –4.

He also added “In the same manner, Dream, Dream2 and Mehwer joined Arabsat see- digital – all package on Arabsat 2B at 30,5 deg.E. and will reach the Arab viewers in Africa ,Bearing in mind, that the Arab viewership will increase by the operation of  Arabsat 5A which will be launched in May 2010, that  will cover  the whole continent of  Africa .”
