its
fifth
forum
for
TV
satellite
Broadcasting
at
the
Intercontinental
Venice
Hotel
in
Beirut
on
9-8
February
2010
in
the
presence
of
officials
and
directors
of
the
regional
Satellite
Broadcasting
for
more
than
300
satellite
television
Channels
in
the
region
and
the
world,
as
well
as a
crowd
of
the
Arab
media
and
foreigners.

Arabsat
has
stated
that
“We
are
looking
forward
to
meeting
with
the
Arab
and
Foreigner
officials
of
Satellite
Broadcasting
television
and
the
users
of
Arabsat
satellites,
as
the
Forum
coincides
with
the
passing
of
25
years
to
the
launch
of
Arabsat
first
satellite
1 -
A,
which
was
launched
on
the
8th
of
February1985.”
He
added
that
“Arabsat
is
preparing
to
launch
two
new
Satellites
this
year
in
April
and
May
respectively
, 5
- A
and
Badr-5,
as
one
will
cover
the
entire
continent
of
Africa
while
the
other
will
be
a
reserve
in
the
orbit
on
Arabsat
exclusive
fixed
position
26
degrees
East,
in
addition
to
an
increase
in
the
capacities
of
the
two
satellites.
In
this
way
“Arabsat"
has
achieved
integration
in
the
provision
of
satellite
services
to
the
region
as a
leading
eligible
organization
that
has
a
modern
and
integrated
fleet
of
satellites,
includes
all
Satellite
communications
services
and
Satellite
TV
Broadcasting.”
