that it has
taken a majority
stake in
Southern
Aerospace &
Telecom
Consulting
(SATConsult), an
independent
consulting
company based in
Toulouse focused
on supporting
the development
of satellite
infrastructure
worldwide. Under
the terms of the
agreement,
Euroconsult and
SATConsult will
continue to
operate as
separate
companies and
will work in
concert on a
project-by-project
basis. Together,
their teams
cover the full
spectrum of
customers'
requirements in
the satellite
industry
including
market,
financial,
technical,
operational and
legal
assessments.
Established in
1983,
Euroconsult
provides
first-class
strategic
consulting,
develops
comprehensive
research and
organizes
executive-level
annual summits
and training
programs for the
satellite
industry.
SATConsult is a
consulting firm
which provides
engineering
services and
legal expertise
to satellite

support
procurement and
construction
monitoring of
both space and
ground segments
in telecom and
remote sensing
domains.
Together the two
companies boast
an international
roster of nearly
80 experts from
a host of
countries that
can be called
upon for
projects across
the entire
spectrum of the
satellite value
chain and
expertise
domains.
"We are
excited about
the
possibilities
this acquisition
brings to the
market," said
Pacome Revillon,
CEO of
Euroconsult.
"When we began
this process, we
realized that
both Euroconsult
and SATConsult
share the same
philosophy of
business and
both have the
same highly
regarded
reputation
within the
industry, yet in
complementary
domains. This
partnership
allows the two
companies to
offer a combined
end-to-end
service with the
level of
experience and
professionalism
that industry
stakeholders
have come to
expect from us
both. We look
forward to a
long, fruitful
partnership and
bid welcome to
SATConsult."
"We are
thrilled about
this partnership
with Euroconsult
and look forward
to our shared
expertise
further
enhancing our
customers'
experience,"
said Mustapha
Elriz, CEO of
SATConsult.
"Both our
companies have a
history
excellence and a
solid reputation
within the
field.
Leveraging the
partnership will
enable us to
bring additional
expertise to our
existing
customers while
granting us the
opportunity to
jointly reach
and service new
customers. We
look forward to
working with
Euroconsult in
the years to
come."
The
complementary
nature of the
two independent
companies
combined with
the seasoned
staff of experts
will bring a
high level of
competence to
future projects
across the
satellite value
chain.
