Investments in a
new Hub at the
Teraco Data
Center in South

This week,
Liquid Telecom
has shared, that
the company has
invested $3.5
million in a new
satellite hub at
the Teraco Data
Center in South
Africa to
respond to
increasing
demand for
broadband
connectivity
from across
Africa.
The new hub
will enable the
company to offer
customers a
satellite
service with
speeds of up to
50 Mbps (you can

2016). Liquid
Telecom will be
one of the first
to utilize the
Newtec Dialog
multiservice
platform in
Africa.
Liquid Telecom
will operate the
Newtec Dialog
hub alongside
its current
Newtec Sat3Play®
broadband
hub, also
enabling Liquid
Telecom to
launch
business-to-business applications
and reliable
cellular
backhaul
connections
for mobile
operators
throughout
Africa in the
future.
