Georgian 2TV channel started airing over Azerspace-1

Azercosmos OJSCo signed an agreement with The Georgian Public Broadcasting (GBP) on commercial broadcast of one more TV channel – 2TV. In accordance with the agreement, 2TV which functions under GBP is broadcasted over Azerspace-1 via 11095/H/27500 frequency as of January 2016.

2TV was established in 1991. Currently, the channel broadcasts mainly documentaries and socio-political news which is viewed by 55% of Georgian population.

Azercosmos OJSCo also  signed an agreement with The Georgian Public Broadcasting (GBP) on commercial broadcast of Adjara TV. GPB, which has been officially transmitting Georgian public TV and radio channels since 2005, incorporates 17 TV and 15 radio channels. Those TV channels are broadcasting sociopolitical and music programs, feature and animation films, and documentaries. Adjara TV is broadcasted over Azerspace-1 via 11095/H/27500 frequency as of 2016.

The satellite operator has also signed an agreement with Radio 24 and Lux FM, the Ukrainian radio channels. In accordance with the agreement, the radio channels which air music and informative programs are transmitted over Azerspace-1 via 11016/171 frequency as of January 2016.
