Avanti Communications: Hyspeed Connect Rugby World Cup Fans
UK based satellite broadband service provider Hyspeed Broadband has been providing broadband for Wi-Fi zones at a number of official Rugby World Cup 2015 Fanzones.
Located within each host city as well as in the town of Rugby, the birthplace of the game, the Fanzone locations range from iconic town squares to city parks, match venue surroundings and waterside spaces. Each Fanzone includes a big screen; with some showing live Rugby World Cup 2015 matches, rugby activities, food and drink, entertainment and unique regional content to celebrate each host city and match venue’s role in Rugby World Cup 2015.
Hyspeed Broadband has been providing broadband service via Avanti’s HYLAS 2 Ka-band satellite to provide free Wi-Fi services to fans, as well as to power onsite ATMs and payment systems for entertainment stalls on site in: Birmingham, Brighton, Exeter, Richmond and Rugby.
