In the presence of HE Dr. / Riyadh Najm President of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media andوسعادة المهندس / صالح بن عبدالعزيز المغيليث رئيس مجلس إدارة عرب سات HE Eng. / Saleh Bin Abdulaziz Al-Meghaileeth Chairman of Arabsat, Deputy Minister for Media Affairs and V.P for Saudi Broadcasting Corporation , Arab Satellite Communications Organization - Arabsat- وشر ك ة ميديا سبيد عقد توريد وتركيب وتشغيل منصة البث التلفزيوني الرقمي الفضائي الخاصة بمدينة الإعلام السعودية في الرياض للبث على أقمار عرب سات، والتي تم تصميمها بأحدث التقنيات لمواكبة التطور المُتسارع في تكنولوجيا البث للقنوات التلفزيونية والإذاعية الفضائية . and Media Speed Company have signed a ​​contract for providing, installing and operating  the digital Satellite TV Broadcasting platform  in Riyadh, broadcasting on Arabsat satellites, designed with the state-of-art  technology to keep up with  the rapid development in the satellite TV & Radio broadcasting Technology.  

HE Dr. /Riyadh Najm President of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media stated that the General Commission is looking forward to the constructing of the Saudi Media Platform that has been authorized by the Commission on the date planned to enable  Saudi TV Channels to broadcast from this platform as this project is an  ambitious initiatives embarked by the Commission since its inception and with a view to develop the private media sectors in Saudi Arabia. 

و قال المهندس / خالد بن أحمد بالخيور الرئيس التنفيذي لعرب سات نحن سعداء بأن تكون عرب سات أول مشغل أقمار صناعية يشارك فى إنشاء وخدمة هذه المنصة ، متمنياً أن تكون نواة حقيقية لمدن إعلامية مستقبلية فى معظم مناطق المملكة الرئيسية لما تتمتع به المملكة من مكانة عالمية إقتصادياً وسياسياً ودينياً ، مضيفاً بأن قيمة هذا العقد تقدر بقرابة 10 مليون ريال سعودي .Eng. / Khalid bin Ahmed Balkheyour President & CEO of Arabsat said that "We are delighted that Arabsat is the first satellite operator involved in building and operating this platform, hoping this to be a real start for building Media Cities all over the major regions of the Kingdom in the near future , as Saudi Arabia is highly ranked globally ,economically , politically and religiously.” He also added that the value of this contract is about 10 million Saudi Riyals.
