The channesl line of satellite TV
operator Orion Express has been broadened by VIASAT telechannels: 11
of its pay-TV channels were made available on operator`s DTH
satellite platform Telekarta. The placement of the famous
channels on the platform gave the opportunity to Viasat to represent
its channels to the multimillion operator`s audience in Russia and
CIS, while the appearance of the famous channels in Orion Express
packages will allow to improve the quality of its client proposal
and increase the ARPU. The channels are broadcasted from two
satellites – Horizons 2 (85 ° E) and Intelsat 15 (85 °
E), produced by Intelsat company, the leader of the international
satellite services market.
Telekarta subscribers now have the Russian
language movie channel TV1000 Russkoe Kino and the factual channel
Viasat Nature in their basic package. They also have the opportunity
to subscribe to the additional Viasat and Viasat Premium HD
packages, which include the following channels: TV1000 Russkoe Kino,
TV1000, TV1000 Action, Viasat Explore, Viasat History, DaVinci
Learning Viasat Sport, TV1000 Premium HD, TV1000 Megahit HD, TV1000
Comedy.
Viasat TV channels offer demanded quality
content to the audience. In its air - exclusive feature films
produced by world's largest studios: 20th Century Fox, Sony
Pictures, Warner Bros., NBC Universal; also best sport competitions
and unique educational programs.
