ITC Global Expands
Reach in U.K. and European Energy Industry with New Operations
in Aberdeen, Scotland
Feb. 5, 2014
ITC Global, has opened new operations
in
Aberdeen, Scotland expanding its already strong
global presence in over 40 countries. The new office,
located at 15 Albert Street,
Aberdeen will initially be composed of sales and
engineering resources, with near term additions of technical
support and a service depot for systems operating in the North
Sea region.
Leading the U.K. office will be
industry veteran
Richard Elson, as Vice
President of Sales & Business Development. Richard
recently joined the company along with two other new members of
the ITC Global team -
Steve Allan, UK Sales
Manager and
Brian Henderson, Manager
Sales Engineering EMEA. Richard, Steven and Brian are all
formerly of Harris CapRock Communications having served in a
variety of sales, business, and engineering roles, and they
bring extensive expertise in remote communications solutions for
offshore energy clients.
The new ITC Global office in the U.K.
is part of a larger strategic investment to enhance the
company's ability to serve the emerging needs of its clients.
The two year campaign has included a private equity
recapitalization and three sizable acquisitions, dramatically
expanding the firm's global coverage and local presence across
the Americas,
Europe,
Africa, and Asia. The investment has also
enabled ITC Global to be the first to bring new satellite modem
technologies to market, driving higher performance for critical
network applications. The opening of the
Aberdeen, Scotland office follows ITC Global's
expansion last month in another energy capital city,
Houston, Texas, where the company has established
headquarters for its Americas region operations.
Alexandre de Luca, Chief
Commercial Officer and Managing Director for Europe Middle-East
and
Africa, said, "We are very excited to be expanding
our presence in the U.K. We have been planning to open
offices in
Aberdeen for some time, given its position as a
major hub for the energy industry. With Richard and his
new team joining the company, it was the perfect time to make
the investment. The new operations will enable us to
better serve our U.K. based clients both in the North Sea and
around the world."
