Board Change at DCT DELTA

ASC-TEC AG (DCT DELTA), a leading supplier of end –to end solutions for the cable and satellite industry, announces a change at executive management level.

Christian Stickl, CEO of ASC-TEC AG and GM of the subsidiary DCT DELTA GmbH, leaves the helm by July 1st 2013 to follow other opportunities. After successful economic stabilization and strategic realignment of the group between 2009 –2013, he hands over to Ulrich Kiebler. Christian Stickl will support the company on a consultancy base until autumn 2013.

Fredi Grömminger, founder of ASC-TEC AG and chairman of the supervisory board thanks Christian Stickl for his visionary leadership and confirms the continuation of the strategy with the appointment of Ulrich Kiebler. ASC-TEC is already a leading supplier to the European cable industry and targets to adopt this position on a pan-European level. Especially the fact that ASC-TEC was successfully gaining market share in a very competitive environment makes him proud. High quality products „made in Germany“ paired with leading edge technology, was the main reason for the market success.

Ulrich Kiebler worked in different management positions at SES Astra, ND SatCom, Nortel Dasa and Infineon and has more than 20 years of management experience in High-Tech marketing and sales in the Satellite Communications and Semiconductor Industry.

From 2010 - 2013 he worked for SES Astra as Vice President Government & Institutions and was responsible for international satellite projects in central Europe and Middle East. Before, Ulrich Kiebler worked with ND SatCom and Nortel Dasa for 14 years. During this time, he lived in the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, VAE) for 8 years, to grow and lead the markets in the MEA-PAC region.
