Apostolic Oneness Network selects SatLink for global TV distribution

February 11, 2013

The Apostolic Oneness Network has selected SatLink, a leader in international content delivery, to distribute its premium channel internationally.  AON chose SatLink due to the outstanding market penetration achieved by SatLink’s global satellite platforms in every region.  The new arrangement will extend AON’s audience reach in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas over SatLink’s prime international satellite network.

SatLink will broadcast AON TV to Europe in KU band on Eutelsat 9 and to North and South America on Satmex 6. For transmission to Africa, AON will take advantage of SatLink’s AMOS 5 C-band platform to reach the Pan Africa TV market. Likewise, in Asia, AON will be delivered on SatLink’s Cband platform on Asiasat 5, which reaches many hundreds of million viewers directly in households, and through cable networks, Pay TV platforms and hotels throughout the region.

AON is the latest international religious broadcaster to choose SatLink for its global distribution needs.  AON joins DayStar, God’s Learning Channel, Voice of God, Champions of Fire TV, Hope Network, TBN Networks and many others in the community of religious broadcasters that have selected SatLink as their distribution partner. With its strategic location at the crossroads of Europe, Africa and Asia, SatLink provides broadcasters with full end-to-end services including HD Playout services, content management, channel localisation, uplink, satellite capacity and OTT (Over The Top) solutions so they can distribute their content further and expand their reach into new markets.

Julie Ingoli, President of AON commented: “The ability to distribute our content to every corner of the world, to the maximum number of viewers, enables AON to fulfil our commission – to preach the gospel of the kingdom in all the world for a witness.  We have chosen SatLink to further extend the distribution of our broadcast signal.”

David Hochner, CEO of SatLink, commented: “We are delighted to be working with AON and help them to penetrate new markets and reach new audiences. Combing our strategic location with our extensive experience means that we are able to address many of the challenges facing broadcasters in this sector and help them to extend their reach to new and exciting regions such as Asia, Africa & Latin America. The provisioning of full broadcasting solutions in a reliable and cost-effective manner is key and we are always looking for new ways to deliver our customer’s content globally.”
