Arabsat and BBC Sign an
agreement for a period of five years to broadcast BBC Arabic TV and
radio programs for the Middle East , parts of Europe and Africa on
Badr -4

Arabsat and BBC have announced the renewal of their
agreement for five years to broadcast BBC Arabic
TV and Radio programs via Arabsat satellite Badr 4 at 26°E , which
covers the Middle East and large parts of Europe
and Africa.

Balkhyour President & CEO of ARABSAT has expressed his pleasure to
renew this agreement with BBC, which is one of the leading news
channels in the region and has enjoyed a great cooperation with
Arabsat over the years.
Balkhyour stressed that
ARABSAT is keen to serve its customers by
offering the latest technology in the field of satellite
telecommunications & broadcasting via its latest fleet of Satellites
to connect them to their viewers and users
wherever they are around the globe. He also added that Arabsat is
currently finalizing the manufacture and launching of its 6th
generation of satellites that will secure Arabsat leadership in the
satellite telecommunications and broadcasting market in the region,
in addition to ARABSAT diversity of services delivered to its
customers to meet all their future requirements.

is very pleased to continue its relationship with Arabsat for the
delivery of TV and radio programmes to the Arab World, “This
agreement helps to ensure that BBC channels are available to many
millions of homes across the region as part of a bouquet of popular
channels.”
