Blue Nile Channel launch on ARABSAT satellite Badr- 5
from Sudan platform

Arabsat announced the signature
of a contract with the Sudanese Blue Nile Channel to join the
Sudanese bouquet, broadcasted from the recently built platform
shared between the Sudanese Radio & Television Agency and Arabsat,
Blue Nile channel directly broadcast s its programs to the Sudanese
platform via the optical fibers.
The Blue Nile channel is the
most viewed Sudanese channel because it covers all the Sudanese
events outside and inside the country and broadcast a range of vivid
and diverse technical, political, social, sporting and cultural
programs.
Mr. Hassan Fadl Al-Mawla
General Manager of the Channel, said "As a part of Blue Nile Channel
ambitious and ongoing access to the Sudanese and the Arab viewers
anywhere around the world, we are using Arabsat satellites
Badr -5 to expand the channel coverage throughout the Middle East,
Europe and Africa. The Blue Nile channel is very happy with this
strategic relationship with Arabsat and hopes it will continue and
grow in the coming years that will witness a great development in
the Blue Nile channel plans including full transition to HD ".
