Gilat Satcom enhances satellite communications with integration of technology from XipLink

 

Gilat Satcom, has partnered with XipLink, the technology leader in standards based wireless optimization software and hardware to accelerate web surfing speeds and satellite communications throughput.

Installing XipLink XA Appliances with XHO software in its teleport, Gilat Satcom improves the user experience of large and small customers who will enjoy enhanced quality of service without having to install hardware or software.

Customers who wish to achieve even more accelerated service can install a small XA Appliance unit on their premises. XA Appliances deliver the most advanced satellite optimizations right sized for the bandwidth and number of users at each location.

For very high speed links or central aggregation sites, fully redundant appliances optimize links up to 155 Mbps and support thousands of simultaneous session’s typically increasing bandwidth from 2X to 10X.
