The Launch of the Mauritanian bouquet from Nouakchott satellite transmission platform on Arabsat satellites

His Excellency the Prime Minister Dr. Mawlay Weld Mohamed Al-Aghzaf  inaugurates the Mauritanian bouquet broadcasting from Nouakchott platform for satellite broadcasting on Arabsat satellites (Badr – 5) ,  26° degrees East , which was recently established in collaboration with Arabsat.

HE Minister / Hamdi Ould Mahgoub said that the inauguration of broadcasting today is the beginning of a historic and significant experience  in order to upgrade the level of the media and start its emancipation and diversity in Mauritania, besides the launch of that broadcast  will enable us  to start to collect the governmental and private Mauritanian channels  on one bouquet, so that the viewer of Mauritania and the Arab world will be able to watch this bouquet on one frequency in all parts of the Middle East , North Africa and large parts of Europe and Asia, all this comes as a part of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Relationship with the Mauritanian Parliament to develop the infrastructure of TV satellite broadcast in Mauritania.

Khalid bin Ahmed Balkheyour president &CEO of Arabsat, expressed his pleasure on this occasion and said "The launch of the Mauritanian bouquet today came in furtherance of the relationship deals and joint cooperation with the Ministry of Telecommunications and  Relationship with the Parliament in Mauritania, which resulted in signing the bouquet contract earlier this year, and accordingly Arabsat has built a digital satellite broadcast platform in Nouakchott, hoping for such cooperation  to further develop and continue.
