SpeedCast Acquires Additional Capacity on SES WORLD SKIES’ NSS-6, NSS-7, and NSS-12 Satellites to Serve Growing Maritime Markets

SpeedCast, has signed a multi-year agreement with SES WORLD SKIES, for additional capacity on SES’ NSS-6, NSS-7, and NSS-12 satellites to serve the growing demand of its maritime customers in the Middle East, African, and South American regions, including offshore Brazil.

SpeedCast has expanded its capacity on the NSS-6 South East Asia beam and acquired new capacity on the NSS-6 Middle East, NSS-7 South American, and NSS-12 East Africa beams as part of its global maritime network expansion plans. The company addresses the surging demand from SpeedCast’s maritime customers with a total of more than 35 MHz of SES capacity, and this new agreement marks the continuation of SpeedCast’s expansion.
