Board
in
its
current
session
consists
of
nine
countries
:
Saudi
Arabia

Kuwait
-
Libya

Qatar

UAE

Djibouti

Sudan
-
Iraq
-
Palestine.

Arabsat
stated
that
the
Council
will
discuss
the
evolution
of
work
in
Arabsat
and
its
financial
results
until
the
end
of
the
third
quarter
of
this
year,
as
well
as
future
plans,
after
it
has
successfully
launched
two
new
satellites
in
June
and
started
their
commercial
operation
in
August
2010,
as
well
as
the
review
of
several
important
papers.
The
meetings
would
continue
over
two
consecutive
days.
It
is
worth
saying
that
Arabsat
was
recently
honored
during
the
Arab
media
festival
in
Jordan
,
which
was
held
in
Amman.
This
recognition
came
as a
culmination
of
Arabsat
process
in
the
service
of
the
Arab
media
and
communication
for
more
than
25
years.
