STN's next big step for further development

Since its re-launch last year May 2009, STN has grown significantly and currently provides services for over 200 TV stations and 50 Radio channels. STN has added a New Data Service using 5 transponders on Intelsat giving coverage of Middle East and Africa to its portfolio. In addition to this STN are now hosting the  head-end services for the second DTT Slovenian mux for Telenor (Norkring). They have also expanded greatly through their Mobile Production company DVB which now allows more live coverage of major sports events and covered the first ever country wide talent show "Slovenia's Got Talent" This received one of the highest viewing ratings in Slovenia.

Due to this unprecedented success of phase I in the new facility, STN have almost reached full capacity.  Phase II has been put in motion earlier than expected. Further development plans are currently under way covering an additional 5000sq meters of land. This will include many larger transmission antenna, and multi LNB receiving Simulsat dish. This will allow the company to potentially double the current client services. Thus firmly establishing STN as a  major player in the industry.
