16 June 2010
SpeedCast has opened new offices in Dubai, UAE and in Beijing, China – marking the continuation of its global expansion plans.
Founded in 1999, SpeedCast has cemented its position as a leading global network solution provider. With 150 partners worldwide, 13 operational hubs, 7 teleports, and a global maritime network, SpeedCast is now regarded as the leading Asian-based specialist in global network and satellite solutions.
Dubai is the next logical step for Speedcast’s expansion, because the Middle East is regarded as one of the fastest growing VSAT market in the world and is well positioned as a major financial hub to help channel African telecommunications business. Both the Middle East and Africa display an infrastructure demographic that suits satellite communications and SpeedCast is delighted to open a regional headquarters in Dubai*, allowing SpeedCast to take advantage of the growth prospects for both markets.
Beijing is an equally logical step for Speedcast’s expansion, because China is a market whose appeal runs across almost all industries. SpeedCast’s new China office will provide expert technical support to our customers with needs in China. SpeedCast’s new office is located in Beijing** in the Chao Yang District, and is well positioned to take advantage of the strength and growth of the China market. Furthermore, as China continues to develop its relations with African nations, and leads investment and development in that continent, SpeedCast’s newly established presence in the China, Middle East and African markets will position SpeedCast ideally to support Chinese companies’ international expansion plans.
SpeedCast will continue to execute on its global expansion plans, investing in key markets and geographies, in order to provide the highest level of service and support for our customers wherever they are around the world.
“In order to support our current Asian customers’ expansion plans in Asia, Middle East, and Africa, we are delighted to open new offices in the two leading business centers of Dubai and Beijing,” said Pierre-Jean Beylier, Chief Executive Officer of SpeedCast Ltd. He continued, “SpeedCast looks forward to enabling our customers’ growth in these regions.”
