The
BBC’s
latest
adventure
into
live
natural
history
programming,
Lambing
Live,
billed
by
some
as ‘EweTube’
has
been
one
of
the
surprise
hits
of
the
year
so
far,
attracting
more
2
million
viewers
in
the
UK
on
its
opening
night.
The
week-long
show
provided
an
insight
into
the
biggest
and
busiest
event
in
the
farming
calendar.
Arqiva
provided
the
BBC
with
full
HD
Outside
Broadcast
production
and
SNG
uplinking
for
the
live
elements
of
Lambing
Live,
with
an
Arqiva
crewed
HD
OB
truck
and
two
HD
SNG
flyaways
deployed
to a
remote
Welsh
farm.
The
signal
turned
around
to
the
BBC
using
Arqiva
satellite
capacity
and
teleport
services.
