Intelsat
Announces
Agreement
with
Turksat
to
Enhance
Satellite
Capacity
in
the
Middle
East
Region

Intelsat
S.A.,
announced
an
agreement
with
Turksat
A.S.,
the
leading
satellite
operator
in
Turkey,
which
will
result
in
enhanced
satellite
capacity
serving
the
Middle
East
region.
The
agreement
provides
Turksat
with
satellite
capacity
on
the
Intelsat
system
while
Turksat
finalizes
details
of
its
new
satellite.
In
addition,
Intelsat
will
have
the
option
to
participate
with
Turksat
in
its
plans
for
continued
growth
in
this
strategic
region.
In
describing
this
important
step
in
the
longstanding
relationship
between
the
two
companies,
Phillip
Spector,
Intelsat's
Executive
Vice
President,
Business
Development,
