has
installed
a
comprehensive
communications
solution
for
an
education
customer
in
the
Middle
East.
The
customer
is a
private
international
school
with
multiple
campuses
accommodating
a
total
of
more
than
800
faculty,
staff,
and
students
ranging
in
grade
levels
from
pre-school
through
high
school.
Wireless
links
were
setup
between
the
main
campuses
and
the
ISP
for
Internet
connectivity.
The
new
solution
enables
the
school
to
participate
in a
sister
school
program,
where
students
from
all
over
the
world
exchange
cultural
insights
over
video.
With
the
new
system,
video
sessions
can
be
established
easily
and
occur
without
interruption.
The
comprehensive
solution
includes
upgrades
to
network
infrastructure:
an
update
of
the
phone
system
to
an
IP-based
solution,
campus-wide
secure
authenticated
wireless
connectivity
(Wi-Fi),
as
well
as a
new
Internet
based
learning
system
complete
with
a
new
web
site,
virtual
classroom,
e-mail
system,
firewall,
and
web
filter.
