AsiaSat 7 selected for SEANET’s VSAT
network services in Myanmar

AsiaSat and SEANET Myanmar have signed a contract for VSAT
network services in Myanmar using AsiaSat 7 Ku-band capacity.
SEANET will be one of Myanmar’s pioneering operators offering
broadband data services on an AsiaSat satellite.
AsiaSat 7’s high-power Ku-band coverage over Myanmar will
support SEANET’s nationwide VSAT network for a wide array of
broadband internet, enterprise solutions and data connectivity
services for its corporate, SME, government and NGO clients.

to deliver reliable, high speed and cost effective satellite
services to meet our customers’ requirements. AsiaSat 7’s
coverage and high look angle enable us to provide high quality
service anywhere in Myanmar including the most remote and

Director of SEANET Myanmar. “We look forward to beginning
commercial rollout of our service in June leveraging AsiaSat’s
over 25 years of VSAT expertise and experience in Asia.”
