C-COM Satellite
Systems Inc., announced today at
CommunicAsia2013, Asia's largest
communication exhibition, that 22 of its
next generation iNetVu® 1201 model antenna
systems have been deployed by first
responders in Japan.
Following extensive trials in Japan,
these new generation iNetVu antennas, which
recently received Eutelsat approval, have
been selected by first responders over a
number of competing products.
C-COM's partner in Japan in cooperation
with a large Japanese multinational company
has integrated, delivered and deployed the
antenna systems on fire trucks in Japan.
"The 1201 systems are designed to
rigorous standards for accuracy and
reliability and require no maintenance. They
can find the satellite with a simple push of
a button. Extensive tests performed over a
number of months by the customer in Japan
confirmed the iNetVu® 1201 to be superior in
technology, quality as well as price
performance to all competing products
tested" said Leslie Klein, CEO of C-COM
Satellite Systems Inc.
"Japanese customers tend to be extremely
rigorous in selecting their suppliers. Being
selected as a provider of technology to
Japanese first responders is a significant
endorsement of C-COM's iNetVu® antenna
technology in Japan" added Mr. Klein.
