Thaicom Announces Company Name Change to “Gulf Space Technology Public Company Limited,”

Thaicom Public Company Limited has officially changed its company name to Gulf Space Technology Public Company Limited, effective 17 September 2026. The company will begin trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) under its new ticker symbol, “GST”, effective 28 September 2026.

The new company name reflects the company’s strategic direction to transition from a communications satellite operator to a space technology company, positioning itself to capture business opportunities in the New Space Economy while aligning with the group’s long-term business strategy.

Dr. Piyawat Jriyasetapong, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Space Technology Public Company Limited, said, “The name Gulf Space Technology reflects our growing role in the New Space Economy. Building on our extensive experience in satellite communications, we are venturing into space-based data services and critical digital infrastructure.
