Infostellar, a dedicated satellite
antenna hosting business and
Ground-Segment-as-a-Service (GSaaS) provider, is pleased
to announce that it has started construction of a new
satellite communications (satcoms) gateway at
its Taiki Japan ground station in support of an
unnamed satellite internet connectivity provider.
Company CEO, Naomi Kurahara said,
“Since its inception in 2016, Infostellar has aimed to
provide creative ground segment services to satellite
operators around the world. Our
ground station hosting site in Taiki has already
attracted several key Earth Observation and Satellite
Communications players that require services in the
Asia-Pacific region. We are very
proud to now be supporting our new client and their
strategically important gateway Earth station. We look
forward to the continued expansion of dedicated hosting
services and global operations from our Japanese base of
operations.”
Kurahara added, “Infostellar’s team
in Japan, the US and UK collaborated in developing the
Taiki Earth Station, together building a world class
uplink/downlink capability that is attracting the
world’s leading satcom and Earth Observation companies
to base their antennas in Japan”
The contract to host the
undisclosed international satcoms operator at
Infostellar’s ground station in Taiki, Japan was
negotiated by Infostellar Inc. USA CEO, Tom Pirrone,
“Infostellar’s mission is “We connect Earth and
Space to empower the future”, and our vision is “Be the
most effective enabler of space business by providing
the best access to satellite”.These are values shared by
our client and why they chose Infostellar and our Earth
Station in Taiki as lead on their strategic gateway in
Japan”, said Pirrone.

Taiki, Infostellar is also the provider of GSaaS
services from a network of stations that include Viasat
RTE, Amazon Web Services (AWS-GS), and other ground
stations in strategic locations globally supporting a
wide range of international satellite operators to
delivery their TT&C and data downlinks delivering their
