MEASAT showcases innovative National Security solutions at LISF@LIMA 2023

Sovereign satellite communications systems for Malaysia’s military and  security stakeholders showcased with industry-leading partners

MEASAT Global Berhad will be showcasing its portfolio of solutions; particularly sovereign satellite communications systems for the military and other security stakeholders at the Langkawi International Space Forum (“LISF”) held in conjunction with the 16th Edition of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (“LIMA”) from 23 to 27 May 2023. MEASAT – in collaboration with its global partners including Datacomm, Hughes Network Systems, Kymeta Corporation, LatConnect 60, ST Engineering iDirect and Thuraya, will be displaying various satellite[1]based solutions that bolster national security capabilities.

Following the launch of MEASAT-3d – the company’s most advanced satellite in 2022, MEASAT’s fleet of satellites now has elevated capacity to offer high-speed broadband connectivity to power various services and applications. These include:

• High-speed Communications on the Move (“COTM”) for both onshore and offshore connectivity

• Globally deployed field-tested Secure Military Satcom applications

• Portable Manpack solutions for fast and nimble mobilisation

• Earth Imaging and AI-based Data Analytics for fast decision-making
