PolarSat Inc. announces the receipt of an additional order for the expansion of an existing Air Traffic Control Network in Asia.  Increased air traffic and the successful operation of the network drove the expansion of this network.  The equipment is for immediate delivery and the orders total over $850,000 USD.

This VSAT network has been operating for a number of years and this expansion highlights the VSAT networks’ key role in an overall air traffic control network.  This equipment carries VHF voice, Radar, air tasking orders and a variety of other traffic in a full mesh configuration.

PolarSat VSATPlus solution supports this ongoing expansion without effecting existing sites or their traffic.  "Air traffic demands have outpaced the original expectations for this network and we are very excited to be part of this growth” said Ron Mankarious, PolarSat's VP of Sales and Marketing. "It is also further evidence of the suitability of PolarSat's full mesh VSAT architecture to support the aerospace industry with air traffic control network traffic today and whatever tomorrow should bring."

The VSATPlus family of terminals provides hubless mesh connectivity that is easy to expand.  The VSATPlus family continues PolarSat’s 25+ years of satellite modem experience to continue to provide a robust and reliable MF-TDMA, full mesh, hubless product.
