AST Distribution Appointed Master Distributor Status for Asian Pacific Region

AST Distribution, and Thrane & Thrane announced hey have entered into an agreement appointing AST as a Master Distributor of Thrane & Thrane products for the SEA/Pacific region.

AST, uniquely in the industry, is the world’s largest, independently owned private company specialising in global provision of advanced satellite mobile communications.  Thrane & Thrane is the worlds leading manufacturer of terminals and land earth stations for global mobile satellite and radio.

The new appointment is a welcome addition to the existing global MD Status held by AST, and applies to Thrane & Thrane’s extensive range of satellite and radio communications equipment.

The new agreement is an important step towards fulfilling Thrane & Thrane’s commitment to improving its overall customer service by focusing on its worldwide distribution network, and stands as testiment to AST’s success in the European region since MD Status was granted in 2007.

Daniel Friis, SVP EMEA/SEA & Customer Service at Thrane & Thrane, explained why AST was chosen: "Implementing a strong distribution strategy includes setting up partnerships with some of the leading distributors in this business.
