PolarSat
Inc.,
announces
the
receipt
of
multiple
orders
for
a
major
expansion
of
an
existing
Air
Traffic
Network.
The
successful
operation
of
the
network
leads
to
the
expansion
of
this
network.
The
equipment
is
for
immediate
delivery
and
the
orders
total
over
$ 1
million
USD.
This
VSAT
network
has
been
operating
for
a
number
of
years
and
this
expansion
highlights
the
VSAT
networks
key
role
in
an
overall
Air
traffic
control
network.
This
equipment
carries
VHF
voice,
Radar,
air
tasking
orders
and
a
variety
of
other
traffic
in a
full
mesh
configuration.
PolarSat
VSATPlus
solution
has
been
a
stable
product
because
of
its
innovative
design
and
reliability.
"Although
we
have
been
supplying
our
VSATPlus
terminal
to a
number
of
Air
traffic
control
networks
worldwide,
this
is a
considerable
win
for
us
that
significantly
expands
an
already
large
network.
We
are
very
pleased
that
this
customer
continues
to
provide
us
with
sizeable
opportunities
to
supply
them
VSAT
terminals",
said
Ron
Mankarious,
PolarSat's
VP
of
Sales
and
Marketing.
It
is
also
further
evidence
that
our
product
strategy
to
focus
on
high
reliability
networks
is
the
key
element
of
our
continued
success."
The
VSATPlus
family
of
terminals
provides
hubless
mesh
connectivity
that
it
is
easy
to
expand.
