Integral Systems Europe Awarded $3 Million Contract to Support Satellite Program in Asia

March 31, 2010

Integral Systems Europe has been awarded a contract in excess of $3 million to support a major satellite program in Asia. ISE UK will provide the earth station for tracking, telemetry and command of the satellite, combined with traffic uplink and downlink facilities.

This is the latest contract win for Integral Systems' family of companies on this particular program. Earlier this year, the company announced that it will provide its EPOCH Integrated Product Suite (IPS) to manage the satellite ground systems for the satellite. Integral Systems also announced that SAT Corporation will provide its Monics® system for satellite monitoring, interference detection, and satellite operator planning capability. The Telemetry, Tracking and Control (TT&C) system will be managed by the Compass Monitor & Control System (MCS) from Newpoint Technologies, an Integral Systems company. Compass is already in service under a previous contract award.

"This contract award underscores Integral Systems Europe's position as a centre of excellence for high-end satellite earth stations," said Integral Systems Europe UK President Andrew Smith. "Integral Systems is now involved with every element of the ground segment in Asia. We look forward to providing the program with a world-class earth station capability."
