Receives APSCC’s Satellite Executive of
the Year in Asia-Pacific Award

William Wade,
President & Chief Executive Officer of
Asia Satellite Telecommunications
Company Limited (AsiaSat) was presented
the ‘Satellite Executive of the Year in
Asia-Pacific’ Award, by the Asia-Pacific
Satellite Communications Council (APSCC)
at the 2013 APSCC Awards Ceremony held
in Hong Kong on 24 September.
The ‘Satellite
Executive of the Year in Asia-Pacific’
Award was voted by a group of industry
experts on the APSCC Awards Selection
Committee and was given to the
individual who has made outstanding
contributions and achievements to the
satellite industry during the year.
“This year,
APSCC and the Awards Committee are
pleased to honour the executives and
veterans, who have taken the lead to
enhance the satellite industry in the
region. These
individuals selected by the APSCC Awards
Selection Committee are visionaries who
have been in the lead in shaping the
future of satellite and space community.

Award,” said Yutaka Nagai, President of
APSCC in his congratulatory message
given at the awards ceremony.
