26 February 2013

EM Solutions announces launch plans for business expansion into North America and EMEA Regions.

EM Solutions Managing Director Dr. Rowan Gilmore said  “The company’s Ka-Band RF products for military and commercial satcom terminals are now being sought by customers from around the world. We are excited to announce our intention to commence dedicated, full time people in the Northern Hemisphere to provide better support to our customers here, and to further grow our business”.

EM Solutions’ Ka-Band RF product range includes a range of lightweight, small yet powerful SSPA/BUC’s up to 50W Psat (40W Plinear) and LNB’s that meet and exceed MIL-STD specifications.

Additionally, EM Solutions’ recent success in undertaking complex project engineering work resulting in delivery of two (2) Ka-Band WINDS OTM terminals for NICT in Japan, along with continuing efforts towards USA WGS Phase #3 certification of its Sat-tracker Ka-Band OTM terminal, are business drivers behind the initiative to expand the Company’s Business Development team.

“We are establishing new positions at the Vice-President level to service direct commercial relationships with customers and to support existing EM Solutions distributors / agents in the North American and EMEA Regions” Dr. Gilmore said.

Reporting directly to Jamie Smith, EM Solutions’ Global Director of Marketing and Sales, the new VP’s Business Development will spearhead campaigns to inform customers about EM Solutions products and the company’s proven capability to undertake complex Microwave RF (up to 80GHz) product engineering development projects.

Bringing a deep background knowledge of the microwave and satellite industry, the VP’s Business Development will build sustainable business relationships based around particular customer needs that can be satisfied by EM Solutions’ products and professional engineering services capability.
