"Perfect 10 has been a valuable partner to Viasat for years. We are pleased to extend our relationship to now cover broadband services on our ViaSat-2 satellite," said Keven Lippert, president, Broadband Services, Viasat. "Perfect 10 is an industry leader in fulfillment services, and together we will be able to meet the anticipated demands for our new internet offering. We believe our new internet service will deliver cable-like speeds to every part of the continental United States making satellite internet even more competitive with terrestrial internet services."

The new Viasat satellite service is expected to offer significantly improved speeds and higher-quality satellite internet services across a broad footprint that includes North America, Central America, the Caribbean and a portion of northern South America, as well as the primary aeronautical and maritime routes across the Atlantic Ocean between North America and Europe. The new Viasat internet service is expected to launch in February 2018.
