CopaSAT Named an Awardee on a $2.5 Billion Complex Commercial SATCOM Solution (CS3) Contract

Department of Defense and Federal Civilian Agencies Now Able to Purchase End-to-End, Innovative Products and Services
St Petersburg, Florida , May 9, 2017 (Newswire.com) - CopaSAT, a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced it has been awarded a Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS3) Contract from the United States General Services Administration (GSA). The contract has a total maximum value of $2.5 Billion among all awardees over the potential 10-year period of performance.
CS3 is a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide a wide range of complex commercial satellite communications solutions, such as Interactive Services; Continuity of Operations (COOP); Broadcast Satellite Services; Direct Customer, Steady State, and Emergency Responder Operations; and Fleet and Asset Tracking and Reporting Services. CS3’s overarching objective is to be as flexible and agile as possible to meet and satisfy the widely differing requirements of Federal Government organizations, now and for decades to come. Winning this contract is validation of CopaSAT’s extensive blend of expertise, capabilities, experience, and industry relationships.

For the next ten years, CS3 will be a key contract vehicle for the DoD and federal civilian agencies to purchase a wide range of fixed and mobile satellite services, components, service-enabling authorizations (e.g., host nation approvals, landing rights, frequency clearances, etc.), and components and ancillary equipment such as terminals, teleports, terrestrial tail circuits, Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards, and peripherals. The CS3 Contract ensures CopaSAT continued ability to serve our Government customers with industry-leading COMSATCOM services as technologies and options evolve over the next decade.
