DataPath Expands Presence in Washington D.C. Area, Secure Communications Industry Hub

DataPath, Inc., has expanded operations in the Washington D.C. area to complement its existing Aberdeen, Maryland, office. Since the region serves as the hub of the satellite and secure communications industry in the U.S., DataPath's establishment of a sales and technical support facility allows the company to strengthen relationships with customers and strategic partners that are based or have a significant presence in the Beltway.

"Over the past three years, DataPath has been rapidly expanding its business with the launch of new products, services and regional operations," said David Myers, President and CEO. "It is only fitting that we locate a sales and technical support center close to our customers and partners, in the very heart of the satellite communications industry."

To officially commemorate the expansion, the company will hold a grand opening ceremony today at its new office at 21660 Ridgetop Circle Suite 150, Sterling, Virginia, located near Washington Dulles International Airport. DataPath's leadership team and local representatives are hosting partners and customers for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and product demonstrations.

The opening of the new Washington area office continues an expansion strategy that started in 2015 with the opening of a regional office in Aberdeen, Maryland, and steadily progressed with new sales offices in New Delhi, Singapore and Dubai.

DataPath's headquarters and primary manufacturing facility is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with international operations located in Stockholm, Sweden. The company also provides field services with more than 200 service technicians and engineers located across 20 countries worldwide.
