X2nSat
announces its partnership with Thuraya
to offer innovative new M2M service in
North America.
X2nSat is the
first to sign a Service Partner
Agreement for the ability to offer
Thuraya’s
dedicated M2M service and new terminal
to customers in North America.
Thuraya
announced in March the launch of their
M2M service and FT2225 terminal, the
first to operate in North America for
the company. Working in partnership with
X2nSat, Thuraya will be able to further
extend its reach into US markets. Says
Garrett C. Hill, CEO of X2nSat, “The
Thuraya M2M network gives X2nSat a
solution that addresses the gap in the
market between the current “store and
forward” and IP broadband services with
a built for purpose service that offers
lower total cost of ownership for M2M
and IoT applications. "
X2nSat will
offer the new Thuraya FT2225 fixed
terminal, which offers exceptiononally
efficient bandwidth usage, low‐latency
IP networking, and high levels of
security. The FT2225 always on
connectivity enables real time
monitoring and control to support
applications in the Government, Utilites,
Remote banking, Oil and Gas and Mining
sectors.
