Pay TV Operator Dish Mexico Selects Octoshape for Multiscreen OTT Streaming Services

 

With a line-up of at least 30 over-the-air and public channels, Dish Mexico is the first broadcaster in Mexico to offer live and on-demand, multiscreen broadcast services over the Internet. Dish Mexico will leverage Octoshape’s patented Infinite HD-M^TM stream acceleration technologies for both live and on-demand streaming for a full bouquet of content including sports, cultural, ethnic and arts channels. The technology has been selected to achieve a consistent, high-quality video playback across any device for a differentiated service targeted at existing and new subscribers.
