Globecomm Awarded Task Order
Under the GTACS $10 billion IDIQ Contract Vehicle
Globecomm, has been awarded a Delivery Order from the
US Army’s Program Executive Office for Command, Control
and Communications-Tactical (PEO-C3T) under the Global
Tactical Advanced Communications Systems (GTACS) $10
billion indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ)
contract vehicle.
In November 2012, Globecomm was awarded a GTACS contract for
the unrestricted suite of contracts. The multiple award IDIQ
contract vehicle has a term of five years and a ceiling of $10
billion.
The PEO-C3T provides US Soldiers with computer systems,
radios and communication networks they require to fight the
Nation’s wars. They develop, acquire and field to all Army units
a range of products including specialized software applications,
generators, radios, computers, servers and communication
systems; and integrate the systems together so they function
seamlessly; while providing on-site training and support for the
systems deployed worldwide.
The firm-fixed price award is for the delivery of 65 new
satellite modems and 550 satellite modem upgrade kits in support
of satellite communications terminals for the Warfighter
Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T). This order provides new
hardware and upgraded hardware to several organizations to
include, but are not limited to, Army, Marines, Central Command
(CENTCOM) and Marine Central Command (MARCENT). The contract
provides options for additional hardware over the contract
period of performance.
