ORBCOMM Moves Its Innovation and Network Control Center to
New Location in Northern Virginia
ORBCOMM Inc. has relocated its
Innovation and Network Control Center to a newly renovated
facility just minutes from its current location in Dulles,
VA, on April 14, 2014.
“Our new Innovation and Network Control Center was specifically
designed to accommodate the continued growth and expansion of our
business,” said Marc Eisenberg, Chief Executive Officer. “This
state-of-the-art facility allows us to bring together key
engineering, product development, customer service, sales, and
marketing capabilities. It also houses our Network Control Center,
which is the focal point for managing ORBCOMM’s global satellite
constellation and terrestrial networks as well as preparing for our
first OG2 satellite launch next month.”
ORBCOMM is leasing more than 27,000 square feet at the Loudoun
Gateway office complex, which is located at 22970 Indian Creek
Drive, Suite 300, Sterling, VA 20166. Kane Construction managed the
facility construction of ORBCOMM’s new Innovation Center.
