TrustComm Expands its Portfolio
to Include Mobile Satellite Services
5 September 2013
TrustComm Inc., has expanded its VSAT and engineering
service portfolio to include mobile satellite services
(MSS).
From its secure teleport and network
operations centers (S-NOCs) at Ellington Field Joint Reserve
Base in Houston and Quantico, Va., TrustComm has
successfully deployed a wide range of managed satellite
networking solutions globally for commercial and government
clients.
Having recently upgraded its teleport
and S-NOC facilities to exceed the requirements of its
clients, expansion of its service portfolio via partnerships
with Inmarsat and Thuraya further solidifies TrustComm’s
market position as a single-source provider of end-to-end
services.
To strengthen the value proposition and
commitment to its expanded MSS capabilities, TrustComm today
announced new partnerships with MSS operators Inmarsat plc
and Thuraya Telecommunications Co., Boeing Co., and leading
equipment provider Cobham SATCOM.
- TrustComm has established a
distribution agreement with Inmarsat for the provision
of the full suite of products and services provided by
Inmarsat Solutions, including the Existing and Evolved
(E&E) portfolio, the Inmarsat-4 (I-4) Broadband Global
Area Network services (BGAN, FBB and SBB), and lease
capabilities.
- TrustComm has established a
Service Provider agreement with Thuraya to develop a
range of MSS solutions leveraging TrustComm’s overall
satellite capability in multiple commercial markets.
- TrustComm has entered into a
strategic relationship with Boeing for the provision of
Inmarsat-4 services for specialized user groups. The
agreement leverages the benefits of both companies’
infrastructures to reach customers on a global scale
with local knowledge and support.
- TrustComm has been
recognized as a Cobham SATCOM Gold Distribution Partner.
TrustComm now distributes Cobham SATCOM’s full line of
satellite and radio communication terminals and earth
stations for the Explorer portfolio of land products.
Cobham SATCOM is a unit of Cobham plc’s Aerospace and
Security Division.
“The expansion of our MSS capabilities
and these new partnerships are the latest steps in our
strategic plan to meet the widest range of commercial satcom
requirements for our clients and target markets,” said
TrustComm CEO Bob Roe. “Today’s announcements demonstrate
our commitment and ability to meet the stringent demands of
commercial and government end-to-end, assured solutions.”
TrustComm CTO Rodrigo Gomez added,
“Leveraging the years of experience within the TrustComm
team, we are delivering an integrated approach to MSS and
FSS operators – providing a seamless environment from a user
perspective. We are developing best-of-breed solutions,
agnostic of technology or operator.”
