TrustComm Inc., has been awarded a contract by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). The contract enables Texas state and local government agencies to purchase managed telecommunications services directly from TrustComm. TrustComm’s DIR contract number is DIR-SDD-2242.
From its secure teleport and network operations center (S-NOC) at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base in Houston, TrustComm has successfully deployed a wide range of managed telecommunications solutions to many government agencies and commercial enterprises since 1999. TrustComm recently opened its new corporate headquarters with an expanded executive team and fully redundant S-NOC at the Quantico Corporate Center in Stafford, Va.
For many years, TrustComm’s secure telecommunications solutions have been successfully deployed by the Texas National Guard, the sheriff’s department of Harris County, Tex. and many other government agencies nationwide. TrustComm earned the National Guard’s Minuteman Award for outstanding disaster support during hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma.
“Our long, successful relationship with the state of Texas and many of its most critical agencies is a proud achievement that we do not take lightly, and that we will be able to expand through this contract. Our new contract with DIR will make it easy for contracting officers to fulfill their demanding connectivity requirements,” said TrustComm CEO Bob Roe.
Roe concluded, “This contract vehicle streamlines procurement, enabling us to quickly provide the most advanced managed services supported by the highest levels of customer service.”
